With its church walks, circular tours and panoramic trails, this holiday region was made for walkers: picturesque side valleys, such as the Pflerscher Tal or Villnösstal valleys, are excellent for hiking. The mild climate soothes the spirit and the cultivated landscape is a delight for the eye. This valley boasts not fewer than 33 circular tours and, with cultural and natural monuments, visitor attractions and viewpoints, not to mention traditional mountain huts, there are plenty of interesting places to stop for a break. The Valle Isarco is also home to two of the most beautiful high pastures in the Alps: the Villanderer Alm and the Lüsner Alm. Walkers in the Valle Isarco should also be sure to sample the adventure trails, which are an absolute highlight.
